Scholarships - Government Scholarships & Grants

Scholarships. Many people are seeking them out, conducting web searches, asking around and inquiring, and basically doing anything and everything to find some sort of financial aid to cover the rising costs of a college education.
The good news is that more people than ever are entering colleges and universities. The bad news is the sticker shock that goes along with getting a good education. This education can be the foundation for a successful and more rewarding life. However it can be a real struggle for people to find the ways and means of paying for school unless their parents have a nice college fund in place.
So what are people to do? And what kinds of scholarships exist? I'm glad you asked that question, because while there are many scholarships that come from private sources, government scholarships are some of the best scholarships available. Unlike financial aid and student loans, government scholarships (just like other scholarships) never need to be repaid. They are a sort of grant; an investment in the future of our great nation.
Government grants exist. They are simply not the most easiest things to find. There is so much red tape. That's how things are with the government typically. One time it was said a person had to wait weeks(!) to get a simple driver's license or birth certificate or something like that. Now all that stuff is pretty much instantaneous.
But government grants are a whole other ballgame. The bottom of the 9th. 2 outs. 2 men on base and the count is 3 balls and 2 strikes. Talk about pressure.
But in any case, government grants rock. You just have to know where to look.
