Scholarship For Dads Program - A Twist to Gender Sensitivity

Ever since women empowerment was born, society has been biased to men in terms of opportunities. Not in terms of jobs or work opportunities but of free services. It seems that women are favored more when it comes to government extension programs. Today, however, there's a twist to this, because a scholarship for the dad program is now up for grab.
Fathers, single or married and are living with his child/children are eligible to avail of this scholarship program. The program gives them the chance to go back to school for free. Take a college degree or perhaps resume interrupted studies in college. This may be his only chance today to get that college degree.
At the College of Dupage Foundation, Illinois, a scholarship for single parents is offered. This scholarship supports single dads, for instance, in need of financial assistance to attend this college. This financial assistance can cover tuition fee and books. To be eligible he has to have child/children dependent to him.
In Florida another scholarship that dads can avail is the George Snow scholarship fund. This program, likewise, allows single parents or single dads in this case, to go back to school. Dads can choose any program of study that he desires or think relevant to his goals as a father. Like maybe he can choose to take short courses to cut short that schooling process.
This only implies that the society is not actually gender insensitive to men. It's because they are also viewed as individuals in the society that needs help. And they are not actually the ones always to save women from distress. They too need saving, and an opportunity like scholarship for the dad program is very much welcomed.
What he needs to do now is to visit a college, university or training institutes. Normally, the admission process of these academic institutions has already included any scholarship processing. That is if such academic institution is accredited to take students like him under the scholarship for the dad program. Requirements to avail this are pretty basic; his important credential, however, is that a child is dependent to him.
